K2 plays an imperative role in the metabolism of calcium, it’s the main mineral found in your bones/teeth. K2 activates calcium-binding actions of two proteins, matrix GLA protein and osteocalcin. These proteins help to build/maintain bones. A deficiency here means an increase in the time it takes for the blood to clot. So you can bleed out quicker :(.
